spoken word and film projects by The Roomers Group

Shaped by Waves

Shaped by waves, shot in 2013 is a short film made during a weekend away performing a collaborative spoken word piece in Daylesford at the Words in Winter Festival. The film lyrically weaves words and images and explores the twin themes of hope and courage.

Shaped by waves is filmed by Marjetka McMahon, Director of Roarhouse: a cross cultural, multi – faceted arts platform supporting artists from culturally diverse backgrounds challenged with mental health issues and marginalisation to collaborate and deliver performance theatre, music and creative multi media.
